Ocrelizumab associated late-onset neutropenia in the patient with multiple sclerosis: Case report and literature review

Introduction. Ocrelizumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that selectively depletes CD20-expressing B cells, which approved for the treatment of relapsing and primary progressive multiple sclerosis (MS). It extremely rarely associated with late-onset neutropenia (LON), as an adverse event. Case outline. We describe case, from Treatment Registry Clinic Neurology, University Clinical Center Serbia, Belgrade, transient, asymptomatic LON detected in naive relapsing?remitting MS patient, six-months after ocrelizumab. Conclusion. Having mind all presently available data, indicate occurring on ocrelizumab transient majority cases, we assume it may be suggested only patients complaints suggesting presence possible infection, additional complete blood count monitoring should mandatory, exclusively at moment, apart precisely defined regular follow-up.
